Meet Our Providers
Valarie Langel
APRN, CNP, MSN, CDP, WCC
Valarie currently resides in Pataskala, Ohio. She boasts a distinguished academic journey that emphasizes her commitment to excellence in nursing. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice from Otterbein University in 2014. Further enhancing her expertise, she pursued a specialized certification in wound care and dementia. She has also recently published a guidebook to support caregivers for loved ones with dementia. As a nurse practitioner for the last decade she has provided primary care in the post- acute, long-term care, and senior living facilities before moving into a Clinical Management position where she oversaw clinical care in the skilled nursing setting. She has also provided care in urgent care and gastroenterology practices. Valarie is a mom to two great children and wife of another local small business owner Matt langel. She is excited to offer affordable quality healthcare in her community.
Karen Posey
APRN, CNP, MSN, BS Ed
Karen Posey is a Family Care Nurse Practitioner who began her practice with cardiology in Zanesville, OH in 2015. She began working at this location upon graduating with her Master’s degree in Nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2015. Prior to her advanced degree, she provided acute care in the Intensive Care Unit at Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in both Education and Nursing from the Ohio State University and Mount Carmel College of Nursing. While earning her degrees she participated in Sigma Theta Tau due to her academic achievements and had the privilege of earning a spot with the Ohio State National Equestrian Team. Karen has been providing care to seniors in Ohio for the past 4 years in her prior position as an Advanced Practice Provider before stepping into the role of Manager of Clinical Education overseeing a group of Advanced Practice Providers specifically overseeing quality and education. Karen is the mother to four amazing children and spends her spare time with her family in the outdoors whenever possible. She is excited about continuing to offer quality healthcare in a transparent and direct care model with LivingWell Health Center.
